We like Proton for the security, even the free version, and there are more features in the paid. I still have my original Hotmail account for junk.

One day I hope to go back. It's about as cool of a ghost town as I've ever seen.
We remind ourselves often "it's the disease". We take a lot of deep breaths and remove ourselves from the room when we need to. Good luck!
It's our time now but it is hard. Father-in-law in hospital in November and moved to a PCH in December (dementia). Mother-in-law in hospital the same final week he was. Now in hospice (cancer). It's so much and I feel what you're going through.
Frank Seravalli, who doesn't post here, doesn't get it either.
"If you canβt celebrate an Olympic accomplishment for and by the USA πΊπΈ, you are on the wrong side. Period.
We truly reached the theater of the absurd when it became βnewsβ last week that hockey players are proud of their country."
Oh yes, Ali. Absolutely! In my brain it was in the context of them laughing about the women's team winning gold with a sexual abuser minutes after celebrating on ice with Johnny Gaudreau's daughter. Like, the thickest of heads.
Glad he didn't go to the sexual abuser meet-and-greet but I totally agree that these young rich players need to start stepping up. They have daughters and sisters and mothers.
We have 86 audiologists in the province. Not ideal.
I was going to say the same. Get the ENT referral. It's their expertise. Or see an audiologist (not a hearing instrument specialist).
Car*man has a huge Dutch (and religious) community. I am venturing a guess that it's not all southern Manitoba Mennonites.
I'm kind of assuming many of them don't get into those pearly gates.
Absolutely wild thread.

Our time on this planet?
Without reading it, I thought it was a pause. When I read it, it was clear that text was missing. Was it because of the space or just because it read as though words were missing? Hmmm...(pause)
Finally my doppelganger shows up.
I do not use iconic lightly, but how about Winnipeg iconic? Portage and Main is where big celebrations end up, despite the city's efforts to make it happen at The Forks. I like that it's faster for you!
You can make it dirty by adding a couple of shots of espresso if you like that sort of thing. A dirty chegg is what I called it when I ordered it. Yum.
Lol. No hallmark movies set in Winnipeg. Plus they're filmed in the heat of the summer so 50-60 degrees warmer.
Real snow?!? Amazing. The Hallmark movies I've seen during shoots use a bunch of cotton sheets to make it appear to be snow. Now that I've seen it IRL, I can't unsee it in the movies.
It was not worth the .99 I paid to watch that garbage.
At least once a year I remind people that homemade eggnog is far simpler and so much better that I have converted many a non-eggnog lover. This year, I will enjoy it with the last drops of bourbon (never rum!) I acquired before the U.S. went mad.
Oh dear. We are failing to launch a soft ginger snap, anti-raisin alliance. Lol.
I went out for dinner tonight and before ordering dessert, I asked if it had raisins in it. The server went to check and came back to let me know the baker is firmly anti-raisin. Hallelujah!
Lmao! Please don't tell me you are pro-raisin too.
Strange? Our family super secret recipe relies on the soft-making ingredients!
If there is one consistent but underappreciated theme in Santa lore it is that cops are on the naughty list.
This is clear in Elf, where Santa explicitly tells Buddy that the Central Park Rangers on the list but think about the many stories in which cops oppose Santa Claus and his followers.
It seems to target the mother of her nephew, divorced from her brother. Seems suspiciously like someone reported her to get her out of the way of the family.
I stopped using booking sites for flight/hotel/car a long time ago because they are predatory. Points status really adds up if you stay with one brand. Yeah, you might pay a few dollars more, but peace of mind is more secure with the original service provider.
Most recent experience is 14 hours in urgent care to get my in-law a bed in the hospital. That's an improvement over the 3 days experienced a couple of years ago. It isn't just ER. Inability to get patients out of hospital backs everything up.
