Imo, it's very easy to misinterpret intentions through text. I promise I'm not trying to be superior. More trying to present as harmless. But since this is a public conversation, where anyone can jump in, I guess it's possible that I'm just doing that for the optics presented to OTHER people.
Definitely seems preemptive, though sometimes people do that. I tend to block more when people get nasty, but it's sort of a personal decision to decide where that line is. If I had a big platform, I'd probably block a lot more, just to try to keep my peace intact.

What did he initially block you for? I don't know the history here. But he does seem like he gets a lot of rage from a lot of people and blocks out of frustration, which I can sympathize with to an extent.
