We're heading to #LARPcon this weekend in Coalville to meet up with people from his #LARP and SHOP!
Looking forward to it. Anyone I know going?
Awww! That's sweet. I feel like one of those elder relatives when I have to ask my 18yo if an image is AI. I've become a sceptic and now everything looks AI.
The tactical clothing was for Network Effect visiting the Corporate Supply Ship
Not in artificial condition. It was very similar to what IT was already wearing.
Congratulations!
Yay!
I have accomplished the #SmashOrPass game on my youngest's #Twitch stream and laughed A LOT. I filmed the behind the scenes, but it only shows my side of the conversation, and none of the slides showing my options. Then filmed my kid guessing my answers. She got 22/37, so not bad. Quality time;)
2/2 I sorted every WIP ever drafted in Notes, including poetry and brief ideas, categorizing and putting into folders and word documents. For TWO HOURS and I'm still not done.
But, like, that counts as today's Chore, Editing, and Research, right?
Right?!?

So, um, I bought a fun cube timer to ensure I don't fall down a rabbit hole and end up not writing. I set it for 30 minutes. Then reset it for 30. And again. And then forgot to reset it.
That entire time I was in my Notes app looking for WIP snippets. Drowned in my own poetry. 1/2

Oh no!
Yes for converting trauma into art!
Looking great!
My husband came home early from work because he felt a cool draft down under... he had a rip in my pants letting cold air in. I wish I'd thought to mention ghosts but I'd just woken up.
That sounds so much worse, though. My ex drove like a maniac and terrified me zooming through traffic in San Francisco, endangering both us and our toddler. I prayed A LOT in those days. I can't imagine it being at speed and being a minor. Hugs.
I can incorporate a piece I've written into the current WIP, or make it a separate short story that may or may be publishable.
Decisions, decisions.

When I think back, I don't even think any of us realized we really could have actually died from our own stupidity.
How long would it have taken for someone to find my car, in a place no one knew we'd gone? And if we'd survived the fall? We had no way to call for help! So stupid...
Weird. Remaining in bed and waiting has not resulted in anyone bringing me a cold Mountain Dew. It's almost as if they all think I'm still asleep and I haven't requested this delivery service for today.
I'm going to have to go fetch it myself.
How's your Friday so far?
Hugs. I hate side effects.

Does kawaii count?
That's awesome!
Yeah, my parents never found out - and it was my car my friend was driving. His mad skills saved our lives.
Teenagers can be very stupid.
Looked at attending CYMERA too much with the writing retreat and fantasycon I don't want to tap myself dry.
We are now inviting volunteers for redcloaking at Fantasycon this year! If you are interested in attending as a volunteer, please fill in this form: forms.gle/ndjc2P57ecya...

Project Hail Mary, especially after the movie was announced.
Tell me a random fact about yourself that sounds fake but is 100% true.
I almost had a friend drive us off a cliff going 160mph when I was sixteen. Trying to "bury the needle" on a road with a sharp bend at the end and cliffs on both sides. We screamed in happiness when we didn't die.
