Irans kärnavtal: Kritik och...
Do you know what? I have never tried that. I have always read in silence. Perhaps a result of all those hours dwelling in libraries.
I'm sure some in power see it that way.
So, while Poker can describe the game, it cannot present a solution.
Still, we should assume Russia will go on under these premises I think.
In poker, if you think you have the better hand, you want to raise the stakes carefully. Milking your opponent for as many chips as possible, maximizing your win. Here the comparison to reality does not apply, since a long war means more human lives lost and more suffering on both sides.
I used to play poker. I can see some similarities to the war in Ukraine. Russia has not gone all in, but they are pot committed. That means, they will keep on going no matter what, until they win or lose the pot. It's a crude comparison, but I think it holds.
I relax through winter's chill, with too much time. Too much time, until the promise of spring.
I knew about this of course, since I have followed you for awhile, but still some new and interesting things! I find some parts of the "emerging market" side interesting. That a country like SK kan be an emerging market despite its maturity, but I guess the thinking is around the capital regulations
Will check it out soon! I actually wanted to invest (a very modest sum!) 6 months ago or so, but it was hard to do from my Swedish bank. Quite unfortunate.

I think so, but I'm not entirely sure.
I got my fair share of that - but university was the freedom I was looking for. It stopped there. Before that though, I was forced to remember when Swedish kings were born and died. Such a useful skill, but alas I have forgot all the dates! Also the mechanics of the music instrument: nyckelharpa (!)
"regurgitating"? What a fascinating word! How can a word both mean "vomit" and "repeating information without understanding it"? I do understand the similarity, but still!
Both of them tend to have that effect!
I don't think so! Hungary is a part of the EU, whereas Ukraine is not. It's better to resolve our differences and also sometimes to accept them, then to kick members out. There are red lines of course, but this is not one of them.
Ha ha. Oh, sådan sanning! Löftet om gomens frälsning besvarat med diskens helvete.

In this 161st long-read on my blog, I seriously consider the hypothesis of the US becoming a hostile power.
I show how everything contributes to this, establishing a link between the domestic scene & the international arena.
The time to de-risk has come.

Footage of French forces conducting a helicopter assault to seize the Russian dark fleet oil tanker Grinch in the Mediterranean yesterday morning.
What's happening in the US right now is scary to watch. It's like an echo of darker times coming alive.
As always, I hope that freedom and liberty will prevail eventually.
"World order" 😉 I did listen to Mark Carney.
How did Mark Carney enter the chat?!?
Hard to avoid though, isn't it?!?
Oh, I generally never share her opinions on the Internet ;) (Couldn't here them over all the coughing anyway.)
That's what I thought.
All healed up! Apparently if you take rehab exercises seriously the body will reward you. This winter I seem to have catched one flu after another. Mildly tiresome, but at least it's contagious and I have shared the misery with my spouse.
