I transferred away from my old team because I was relegated to just doing semi-managerial work. Plus there were some toxic culture issues I wanted to get away from.

I agree, but honestly I think one of the best things about him is that he doesn't seem to want to be president. He genuinely just loves NYC and wants to focus on making it better. He's not just using it as a political stepping stone.

He is honestly just so cool for doing this. Snow days are one of the purest, most quintessential experiences of childhood. I'm so happy those kids will be able to feel that elation once again.

I'm really sad the Winter Olympics are over. I always love watching them, but they always go by so quickly.

This year was especially memorable with both men's and women's hockey winning gold, as well as Alysa Liu's incredible figure skating performance.

For sure. That was the goal for me, too. I'd never actually sell these cards, regardless of grade. They have far more sentimental value for me.

I never actually played the game. I just collected the cards. 😅

My Yu-Gi-Oh cards however were definitely beat to hell from playing on concrete.

I had hoped for better on a few of them. However, even at 3/10, my Shadowless Charizard is still far and away the most valuable. It's worth over 50% more than the other 5 cards in that picture combined. But it's also moot because I don't plan on selling any of them anyway.

I sent several of my childhood Pokemon cards for grading, and these are officially my most valuable cards. Most of the cards I sent came back around 8/10, and it's just fun seeing how good of a job my 8 year old self did at preserving their cards.

European Parliament Votes Overwhelmingly For "The Full Recognition Of Trans Women As Women" The resolution, though nonbinding, is a significant shot at those who seek to erode transgender rights on the continent.

In incredible news, the European Parliament has voted overwhelmingly for "The Full Recognition Of Trans Women As Women."

Even the center-right European People's Party voted for the declaration.

It will form a foundation for their position at the UN Commission on the Status of Women.

Honestly, I wasn't really looking forward to FC this year, but I still managed to have a good time anyway. I just really prefer MFF at this point, but I feel obligated to attend FC because it's my local con.

I love them. I often have trouble coming up with creative ideas for commissions and even more trouble precisely describing them. However, I know what I want when I see it, and YCHs allow me to have a better idea of what the final product will actually look like.

I should probably get the rest of my collection graded, too. Some of them are pretty rare. But they have far greater sentimental value to me anyway.

If I had to flee a sudden wildfire in the middle of the night and could only grab two things, my Pokemon cards would be one of those two things.

My dad heard me mention my disappointment that I was still missing Dragonite after all these years, and he decided to help finally complete my collection.

It's fitting because he was also the one that had helped me collect all the other cards back in the day, too.

This is my favorite Christmas gift this year! Dragonite was the only Pokemon card I was missing from the original set I had collected as a child, and now my collection is finally complete.

I found out my sister isn't joining us for Christmas this year, and I'm honestly pretty heartbroken. 😢 This will be the first time we won't all be together. As I've gotten older, I've truly come to appreciate that my favorite part of Christmas was simply all of us being together.

I'm in the same boat. I was #1 seed going into the playoffs, but then Josh Allen completely let me down.
