Call for Participation — Special Issue on Gender, Sexuality, and the Law Published by NLG Review: A Social Justice Law Journal The NLG Review is now accepting submissions for a forthcoming special issue focused on gender, sexuality, and the law. We invite contributions from legal workers, movement organizers, attorneys, legal scholars, law students, and other community-based legal advocates whose work explores the complex and often contested intersections of the law, bodies, sexuality, and gender. This special issue interrogates the role of law in constructing and policing gender and sexuality, alongside queer and trans resistance to these legal regimes and efforts to reimagine their boundaries. We welcome critical and intersectional analyses, personal and political reflections, and work grounded in organizing and collective struggle.
