Meh. This manga was nothing ground breaking but it wasn't bad. Questionable writing decisions, but the setting was neat. I liked Gordon as a main character, not many manga with middle aged MCs. Fun romp. I'll give it a 6 outta 10 stars.

Okay. It got a little better in volume 2. The world building is neat.

My interpretation of the Eowyn "I am no man" scene from the Lord of the Rings. Eowyn is giving us her back, she has a long cape and her hair are floating in the air. She is surrounded by smoke, branding her sword as she just removed her helmet. In front of her, the giant head of the King of the Nazgul. The illustration is in a limited colour palette of shades of black/grays and pinks. Over the King of the Nazgul's face "I am no man" in pink.
