Every April the rural fields, roadsides, and public areas in Texas bloom with beautiful bluebonnets, transforming quiet landscapes into rivers of blue. In Where the Wildflowers Are, a hillside bursts with blossoms beside a peaceful country road. A white fence stretches down the hill like a ribbon, creating a graceful leading line, while the road opposite follows the same path. Together they guide the viewer through the scene. With a playful nod to imagination, the title invites us to wander where the wildflowers grow.

I was so enamored with being on the media riser when Obama gave that speech in Selma, I didn't hear all of his words. I was also focusing on my shots. It was one of my most historic ventures participating in the #Selma50

Watching #JesseJackson funeral svc & a speaker mentioned Rev crossing the Edmund Pettus Bridge. I had a premonition on MLK jr Day in 2015 about that bridge. I wanted a picture of this bridge. Never in a million years did I think that I would walk across that bridge.
