The editor is basically legos with glb files and the game uses glb metadata to setup Kinetic specific features.

You can now chain jumps by holding down the jump key.
No more friction if you miss the jump timing! (Sorry if you found that frustrating)

Thank you! There is no hard mechanic like strafe jumps or ultra precise mouse movements. It takes a little practice though.
I started with Trenchbroom, then switched to Blender because it's more practical for curves (but I use "brushes" and grid snapping as well). I start with a specific mechanic or a visual that I find interesting, and build around it.
