There are at least 10,000 Amcits in Qatar alone, and the US government is saying we are on our own
Your work is *not* interchangeable. Your medium is *not* interchangeable. The end result of your work is that someone enjoys the work for what it is, a rich piece of art that is more than just a vessel for a sales pitch. Your message is singular and woven into the piece itself.
Something I didn't realise until I tried using FB and Instagram adverts: Content is very much a term that has migrated over from the Marketing space.
When you refer to your work as "content", what you're doing is referring to your work - your art, your story, your creativity - as little more than
We need NYC-based authors/writers to use their skills to share the importance of public libraries in the 21st century. If this is you, write things and post them to all of your networks.
Also sign a letter to the City Council: actionnetwork.org/letters/city...
I let out an audible gasp.
What in the absolute fuck.
There's a dark, dark, history of this. Of forced sterilization.

We believe in HYPERLOCAL ORGANIZING to meet the needs of your community.
If you see something in the data that's relevant to your area or needs β don't wait for us. Take it and run. Organize around the data.
We believe data informs action. We hope you'll take what we do and keep using it for good.
We're blown away by the support from across the country! Thank you. π
A note on what we do: we're a 6-person volunteer team. We dig into public records and build tools and reporting communities can use to organize and resist.
We aren't national rapid response coordinators or live spotters. β‘οΈ
