The most improbable aspect here is that this would suggest a reliable train network.
I made a map of 3.4 million Bluesky users - see if you can find yourself!

I've seen some similar projects, but IMO this seems to better capture some of the fine-grained detail
So a 21% drop in the budget, assuming a 4% inflation, will probably result in a drop in success rates to approximately 20%β¦ most people would be happy with such a success rate, but honestly we should be aiming for much higher rates.
Im currently reading βTalking to my daughter, a brief history of capitalismβ by Yanis Varoufakis. It makes a much more compelling argument than the communist manifesto ever could.
Yikesβ¦
Meanwhile the average success rates for FWF grants and fellowships is still going strong at 25%.

DS9 had the best characters.
This is one reason why all manuscripts we submit must contain a magical incantation. This ensures we remain compliant with funder mandates and if journals have an issue with it they can fight it out with institute management.
It has been a joy working with so many people, many of whom have amazing and specialised skills that I donβt have. Truly a collaborative effort!
Previously we had shown that axolotl tail regeneration occurs in the absence of somitogenesis. In the updated manuscript we propose that vertebral segmentation during tail regeneration occurs through a process of buckling instability. www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...
He is indeed dead.
I tried something today and finished applying for a fellowship. Now I can just forget about it for another 7 months while we wait. π€

Congrats Can!
Vienna airport also offers a good experience. The train terminal is easily reached, and serviced by an (expensive) express train (CAT, the local train (S7), and (inter-)national trains. The biggest downside is that the airport is not included in the Vienna city area public transport ticket.
Interesting!
Echidna?
I am no longer on standby!
