I lost one of my best friends and I donβt even know how to start processing this. 33 years of friendship. π. Iβll miss you, Doug.
I'm taking wildcrafting classes and they're bringing me so much joy! I've made herbal teas, syrups, pasties, tinctures and adaptogens in glycerin so far.
My kid and I look nothing alike. Nothing π
Funny how I feel safer and more at ease at a massive music festival than I do in a city shopping mall.
Spent the last few weekends in cities and as much as I love the shopping and convenience of things being open after 3, it sure makes me anxious.

Whoa, that was a shake! We had a 5.1 earthquake - 24km from Sechelt. We're all safe, and there is no damage here. The kiddos were a bit rattled (literally) in their classrooms in Powell River, but they're doing okay, and Andy and I are all good in Lund. Big love to everyone who checked in on us π
RIGHT!!
Apparently I am a βinsufferable woke twat that needs a $12 coffee to feel satisfied.β Jokes on him. I make my lattes at home.
To further support The True North, Canadian news should be provided in all three national languages - English, French, and Letterkenny.
Itβs CGI, not AI. Thank you for the correction @woodward.ca.
Ahh! Thank you for the correction.
Cumberland!
My sibling is their base player!

Photo of a large green bridge with big trees and hills in the background taken from the TV series Tin Star. Underneath is the real scenery of a smaller bridge with water and houses far away.
We're watching Tin Star, which is set in Alberta. Andy was floored by the scenery and I told him that parts of Alberta are stunning, but this was probably AI.
I was right. Lol
Poster that says βNot in Our Streets. Clean it up β with a graphic of a stick person putting a well known na*i symbol in a trash can
Took this in Glasgow, Scotland and itβs more fitting than ever.
Watching my 12 year-dancing next to me at the edge of the pit last night fuelled my heart and soul. Hope she builds community in the scene as I did.
Last night, Mean Bikini did a shout out to punk parents who brought their kids out to the show. Raising punk kids is resistance!
A handmade sign at a punk rock show that says βReal Punks Have Empathyβ with small graphics relating to harm reduction.
Life is a mosh pit right now. If you can fight, get your elbows up, lace your boots and letβs fucking go! If you can stand, shield those who canβt. Lift up your community, protect the list vulnerable and most importantlyβwhen someone falls, pick them up and make are theyβre okay.
Lol
Accidentally took double my Vyvanse and have a high heart rate, along with constant panic attacks for the last 24 hours. Zero stars. Do not recommend.
The sunset last night was stunning!
Andy is in the bath listening to Black Velvet by Alannah Myles. Should I be concerned?

Lots of moss in different colours on a hillside
Iβm not exactly sure what a snow squall is, but it sounds cold and miserable. So hereβs some dreamy Lund yard views taken today. May they warm you up and take your mind off it.
Photo of the Salish Sea from the beach with sea grass, rocks and driftwood.
Itβs kinda okay here or whatever. #qathet
Playing in the water is his favourite
The best little guy
Absolutely
