tomorrow, some c-suite on linkedIn will VERY CONFIDENTLY announce that CS degrees are useless now that Claude can write COBOL, which isn't a claim made by Anthropic, but who cares, computers are magic now

This is my personal opinion
Find what you truly love. There's a reason for it, and that's the path your experiences create for you
People aren't fools. Even if you try to analyze trends with your head, they can tell the difference between what's genuine and what isn't
So many video games are released every day.
And my game library is full of games I haven't finished yet.
Forgot to post last year's Yvonne

The succubus, Jude, is dressed in frilly witches attire (outfit design courtesy of @minmofu.bsky.social !) holds a bottle containing a smaller version of her beloved party leader Vincent, dressed as a werewolf for Halloween. The bottle also contains a bright pink liquid of unknown contents, but it emits a sweet smell out the top of the spout. The girls expression is elated, hearts lightly decorating her eyes, while the mans expression is more desperate and nervous, banging his fist against the wall of the bottle.
A friends vtuber (cow girl character) is wearing some classic maid attire, complete with white frills and a cow-shaped keyhole displaying more of her chest than usual. She appears to be in the middle of tripping, spilling contents of a tray she was holding; coffee, bagels, and milk go flying- her panicked expression matches the chaos unfolding before her as she scrambles to try catching anything that may fall. Careful with the coffee!
A rather innocent looking nun holds her hand out for you to kiss- she is smoking a cigarette and beckons you with a playful, happy expression.
A blue haired anime styled character holds out his hands to gently catch a glowing snowflake. The character is dressed warmly, with a fur mantle surrounded with an ice crystal crest. He's wearing a blue turtleneck body suit with a diamond open front, exposing his chest. His expression is soft, as not to disrupt the delicateness of the scene. The words "Merry Christmas (12/25/25)" are in the corner. Happy Holidays!
it's my birthday today!! consider sharing my work, its the best gift I could get :'D

A cinematic look at a stage from The Big Catch Tacklebox
A crude pen drawing showing the shapes of the level from the side, with arrows drawn to illustrate the way the player beats the level.
A screenshot of the level from the same perspective as the previous pen drawing, to show how the previous pen drawing translated into the final level.
If you're struggling with level design I personally use 2 methods to get the ball rolling.
Start with a place that's visually interesting, and actually write down everything that happens.
For Big Catch I conceived a simple 2 cylinders and connecting geo, and drew up simple progression.
Game Update:
Finally, I can draw multiple blocks in my game.
The next goal is to make collisions real and stable.
