News I missed!

Recently, Korea banned ticket reselling.

If you try to resell a concert/play/game/event ticket for more than you paid, the fine is 50X what you tried to charge. Anyone can turn you in and collect 10%.

So long, scalpers.
(Apparently BTS tickets were up to 11k until this passed)

Maybe try reading your own biography before replying to others, maybe try taking into account the country the person you’re being unkind too is from, maybe try being nice. Maybe you’d be best off over the road.

MvdV using one hand to pull the Palace lad back waits until him and his dance partner get inside the box before grabbing him with both hands! As a Sunderland fan I’ve seen a helluva lot of relegations and this clown show stuff is what happens when you are going down.

Why did the Palace keeper wander out from between the posts there? If he’d stayed in between them the shot would’ve hit him.

Music Feature: "Which Side? A Protest Music Teach-out" - How Music Meets the Moment - The Arts Fuse The eighth iteration of β€œWhich Side?” was a wild success, mixing musical genres from reggae to old-school Boston punk and punctuated by two moving (and brief) speakers.

NBCC member Clea Simon wrote about the β€œWhich Side” concert/teach-out series based on James Sullivan’s 2019 book, "Which Side Are You On?: 20th Century American History in 100 Protest Songs," for The Arts Fuse:

Every British writer, artist, creative whatever should read this, get angry at what the Government are planning to do and fight them like bloody fuck. How fucking dare they steal out work and hand it to US tech bros. It’s not theirs to take.

β€˜All you need is a chair and a view’: could daily β€˜dusking’ make us healthier and happier? An old Dutch ritual of going outside to watch the coming of night – or dusking – is having a revival across Europe. Fans of the practice say it’s a great way to disconnect from screens and find peace

β€˜Dusking’ - intriguing idea of creating a pause by going outside to watch the coming of the night. β€œDusking is about looking at one point and seeing it fade. Don’t look around too much; focus. Trees are very good – they rise up for a moment and then fade away.”

Seemingly every male British actor has played Churchill in some movie or TV show, and Steve Coogan has played seemingly every male in the British Isles in some movie or TV show, yet Steve Coogan has never played Churchill. Discuss.
