Well, it’s a novelty song but fun. There’s a YouTube channel with more of their songs. I’m not surprised you didn’t come across them, they were largely a uni band although they did gigs in the inner city a fair bit (Chippendale etc). Those were the days Sydney had live music!

Haha. I had a terrible crush on him, well before he was famous. We were both studying English Lit so talked about that a bit. I actually remember him as a weird combination of ego and awkward.

Appalling comments by @albomp.bsky.social on Radio National this morning re. the children of so-called “ISIS Brides”. Apparently because the parents made poor choices, bad luck kids, not our problem. Imagine if every child abuse mandated reporter took that attitude: we’d lose our job and rightly so.
