The Red Eyes Appeared in the Bush:
May thrust her arms, elbow deep, into the foliage and dragged out the hissing Hell Cat. She tucked it under her arm and headed back into the workshop.
Friends & family asked when JAZZ BY FAELIGHT would be available in paperback. As a "Thanks for waiting," and a "Here you go," I dropped the price until Monday. Love ya π

According to legend, if you see a spider on Halloween, it's actually the spirit of a loved one watching over you. So I guess if you see a ghost on Halloween, it's actually a spider. Confusing but good information to have on hand.
White box surrounded by pattern of red and blue #DVpit logos. Inside the box reads: The #DVpit Discord has surpassed 1,000 members! And still counting! 32 agents, 23 editors, 962 creators
WOW. In just over 5 days, more than 1,000 publishing community members have joined the #DVpit Discord server! And now, you donβt even need the link to join, as itβs discoverable thru Discordβs search!
Clearly, this pitch event for marginalized book creators is NOT to be missed!
Wise choice. They will take you down and swarm you.

Flip book = poor choice of words. More of a TripTik, spiral bound book, each page a section of the Mississippi River. My nerdy heart is unreasonably fond of it. It's buried in a back storage room that I need to excavate along with other artifacts from my parents.
Hello, please note that Tales & Feathers will be opening for submissions in October to acquire some new stories for 2024. We would love to see your cozy slice-of-life speculative fiction stories! I will put together a personal wishlist soon.

These are amazingly beautiful! I have a flipbook of the current course of the Mississippi River. My father used to work for the Corp of Engineers dealing with the river and it's every changing path to the gulf. I LOVE the ones you've shown that track the meandering history of the river!
Any advice on where and how to pick out a set of tarrot cards for someone? Thanks in advnace.

I guess I'll have to. I knew doom would be my ultimate destination which is why I packed the throw pillows. Even ultimate doom should be cozy.
You might need the day off to recover from the devistation.
TFW You're cruising along, getting your stories out, and you suddenly realize you were moving too fast for your anxiety to keep up. Now publication is looming ahead.

Do you backtrack and try to pay existential dread its due? Or let it go and face certain doom? I can't believe I was this careless.
A heartbreaking and lovely story. Can't wait to hear the audio version!

10 days off seems like a lot for you, especially when I'm waiting on book 2. But don't rush on my account.
Such a sweet face!
