And please?!
I feel like I'm failing to use it properly now since it has never told me to go to bed...
Some people seem to think that "decentralized" means "I can never have the reach of my posts restricted in any way ever" and that's just not a workable definition.
But your plans aren't lowering power bills! You just keep subsidizing power bills with our own taxpayer dollars.
I really couldn't care less how power was generated as long as it actually got cheaper. And so far you haven't shown that you can pull that off.
But if you did "get energy", why are prices continuing to increase? And prices going down because you subsidize the cost with taxpayer dollars doesn't count.
That just sounds like you are turning TLDs into nfts with rarity or shiny Pokemon...
Now, imagine if we had dug in our heels and said "We're just the protocol guys. We don't ship apps."
Where would this network be? Where would the *protocol* be? It would've been a terribly risky bet to expect other companies to reach the market while downstream of us
I'm going to let other people comment on the other aspects of this, but one part I want to speak to is this:
"everything we wanted in terms of an open source protocol, suddenly became a company with VCs and a board"
