I think BJ is a weird case. Able to self convince that he's told the truth, thus never lies. Then again, having heard tales about his fake winging it when public speaking I'm pretty sure he's a cunning, conniving toff pot. Both may be true.

There's lots of worse things. However for me personally I really detest the gambling industry in its most recent forms. Through the internet and apps it just makes it horrendously easy to manipulate and capture people to severe harm and ruined lives.

It's simply true. We know we need economic change. While the people forming government are taking money from companies, talking to them more than they ever talk to the electorate, the voters, nothing will change.
Only voting for a party now "owned" by established interests will we get change.

Everything sucks because the economic system is rigged to
- give almost everything to a few,
- engineers wealth extraction from the systems,
- sell cheap crap at maximum price with total disregard for harm,
- marketing to sell lifestyle of "because you're worth it"
Motivating us with fear is to deflect from the real need, massive revision of the economic system.
In the end, what do we really need AI for at all? To do things faster that we can already do. To produce things blander as an averaged output of all input.
