Poch was a mid-table manager when we hired him. Given our subsequent hires that seems like luck, not judgement - agree, there's no reason to trust management.
We're a mess of a club, what top manager is going to want to come?
Poch is probably the best we can get **in this/our *current** context.

January was a f-up, yes. I'm not defending Lange. I'm just pointing out that if t argument for some other bloke is merely good talent ID, then that doesn't move t needle - we need more than that!

So that's demonstrating good talent ID - & demonstrable good, yes. It can be argued that Lange has that.
The churn in managers isn't a good thing. We need the DOF to pick managers and players with a consistent style of play in mind, not to have flip flopping between attacking & defensive styles.

Based on?
Read a similar article about this: there wasn't mention of candidates setting direction for the club - style of manager & players to match.
Lange's earlier stated strategy was 'become destination for best young talent', but he's neglected the above (paragraph), the now, & squad balance.

Unfortunate that the first two games were arsenal and Fulham (who've had our number of late). Not denying any of the other mess, but the refereeing inconsistency is also unfortunate, & the wonder goal is what happens when you're in this kinda funk.

This is a massive scandal.
Labour has invented a made-up tactical vote organisation to trick Gorton and Denton into voting for them.
How can this even be legal?

Dear Lucy
On the eve of the by-election, your Labour party spokesperson has admitted to the Huffington Post that a
Labour party leaflet has been delivered through doors with your imprint recommending a vote for Labour
by a tactical voting organisation which does not exist.
This is deeply troubling, it is actually lying to voters. Did you approve this? Do you feel the Labour Party
in government should be held to different standards in terms of honesty to the British public?
In your last letter to me you mentioned your βvery extensive dataβ and βhaving spoken to over a third of
eligible votersβ which led you to an understanding that the by election βwas a contest between labour and
Reformβ. Clearly this latest development only tells voters one thing - you will employ any type of
political deception (or in Urdu βDhokaβ ) to win.
You will be very aware that all three real tactical voting organisations are recommending a vote for the
Greens as the best way to stop Reform. Lying to the voters, as you have been caught doing, raises the real
prospect that Reform will be the beneficiaries, something you have said that you donβt want.
As this is such an important issue, for the sake of your own reputation, I would strongly urge you to
apologise to the voters of Denton and Gorton before the polls open in the morning.β
Kind regards,
Zack Polanski
Leader of the Green Party of England and Wales
Dear @lucympowell.bsky.social,
Why did you invent a fake tactical voting company to stop the Green Party beating Reform?
I'm starting to think your letters haven't always been in good faith...

DNA testing for potential to develop health conditions is sinister.
It's an attempt to quantify the risk for individual patients. But health advice is the same whatever your risk so knowing risk is no use to doctors or patients.
One industry that relies on understanding risk though is insurance.

National Action Days - Green Party
Now is the time to get involved and get Greens elected. See below for action days across the country and sign up now to be part of a winning team.
When I ran for leader, I said we're going to make the Labour Government more worried about losing seats to the Green Party - than to Reform.
We're making this happen in Gorton & Denton. This is about our country.
Volunteer in the next 9 days!

Why the would Naglesman come to spurs? Or Alonso?
Ignoring no European football or us not being Liverpool, we're a mess, & the people running us clearly don't know what they're doing.
If we can't pull a big name (beyond Poch), do you trust our management to identify suitable without big profile?

A letter from Zack Polanski, Leader of the Green Party of England and Wales to Palantir CEO, Alex Karp on 22nd January 2026.
Zack outlines the Green parties objection to Palantir's contract with the NHS on the grounds:
(1)lack of trust with sensitive health data based on Palantir's use of data to enable genocide, and the malignment of this with our public health body serving the UK since 1948.
(2) Active complicity and enabling of genocide in Gaza through provision of advanced tech to the IDF0 supported by the UN special rapporteur on Human Rights.
(3) Palantir's work on a tool for Trump's ICE paramilitary police force- who recently murdered Renee Good.
The Summary calls out Karp's use of lobbyists like Peter Mandelson to assess political risk, stating the risk is high for involvement with the NHS- Green members, aligned campaigners and MPs will do everything possible to get Palantir out of the NHS. It reiterates that hospitals and care boards do not believe Palantir benefits patients.
Palantir is a military corporation profiting from genocide and emboldening surveillance of civilians by abusive police forces.
@zackpolanski.bsky.social delivered a letter today to Palantir CEO Alex Karp demanding the end of its contract with the NHS.
Get Palantir out of our NHS- now.
