Was honored to be double nominated last night at the Casting Society’s Artios Awards. As an awards junkie, the coolest part was being the Beverly Hilton Ballroom and seeing the bathroom that Christine Lahti was in when she won her 1998 Golden Globe.

If Dem senators vote to extend the DHS CR again, they are instantly going to lose a tremendous amount of support from their base who have been in wait-and-see mode on this. I can only assume Dem senators considering this have completely lost touch with their voters. Don’t do it.

One problem Democrats face is that the job of chief electoral strategist (Schumer) is increasingly incompatible with being party leader (also Schumer). Both roles matter, but if you can't use your platform as leader to say what's right because you're too into the game, you don't belong in the job. >
Yes, voting against ICE funding is the morally right thing to do. But you can be the most heartless political consultant bastard out there - cutting ICE is still the smart play. That Schumer/Jeffries are silent right now is political malpractice (and morally reprehensible, if you care about that).

- file impeachment articles every day in the House
- withhold unanimous consent in the senate and filibuster every nominee
- be everywhere with comms saying this is lawless and impeachable

Our district is lucky to have many candidates with very similar politics to Kat, but Kat has several key advantages that others don’t.

Wicked: For Good was not as bad as I thought it would be. I hated the first one so much that my expectations were set appropriately. It’s still not good by any means, but there are a couple solid performances.
