every Sunday me and Edelgard have some tea. I of course always give her her favorite, the Bergamot tea blend, which you can easily purchase from the southern merchant. Now I didn’t know this, but Bergamot tea is actually Earl Grey tea but usually nowadays most teas use artificial bergamot flavoring. A Bergamot is a type of citrus fruit from southern italy, it’s usually called the Bergamot orange, but despite the name it has more of a greenish color to it and looks almost like a lime. And typically what you would do is use the oils from the rind and the skin to blend into black tea and make earl grey. I was wondering why they called it Bergamot tea instead of earl grey, but it turns out earl grey tea was named after “Charles Grey 2nd Earl Grey” which is his full name. he was a British prime minister. So they couldn’t name it earl grey because it implies that the UK exists in fire emblem and the timeline would be all out of wack. Anyway I give Edelgard bergamot tea, which is one of her favs, and we queen out a little. I take some screenshots of her saying stuff like “I don’t fuss with makeup that much, but I take excellent care of my hair.” Then we hit the showers baby we go straight to the sauna. It gets a little hot. Afterwards I go straight to the dining hall and eat about 5 different meals and everybody loves it and they feel super motivated. That’s when I bust out

after listening: Good ep. It occurs to me how funny it is you want more historicity and worldbuilding with proper nouns and explicit events; there was a ton planned in a huge unwieldy library that we cut for killing pacing
