Lowther Cinema presents "Save The Cinema" (12A) on Wednesday, 11th March 2026. This inspiring 1 hour and 49-minute film follows a Welsh hairdresser in the 1990s who rallies her town to save their theatre by reaching out to Steven Spielberg to premiere "Jurassic Park."

We can't wait to welcome Vox Lumiere to our stage as they transform Fritz Lang’s iconic 1927 silent masterpiece METROPOLIS into an explosive live experience.

Tomorrow night's show planning to go ahead and doors will open 45 minutes before the start of the performance.

4 years ago (due to COVID-19) we had to move our panto out into the car park on the back of a lorry and the audience attended in their cars. 🤯
