the major party fouls are the cover/title, which are overly provocative, and the direct link to a T-rated fanfiction at the end. but overall i actually thought the article covered things usually ignored in other reports, like discussions of trans identity or internalized misogyny

i read the fujoshi article everyone's mad about and the conclusion i have reached is that most of these people didn't actually read the article the whole way through because i was surprised by how non-judgmental it was lol

i know it’s common to unintentionally self-segregate but like. we should be fighting that.

with that trans anthology that’s currently receiving understandable criticism i think it’s worth saying that tme creatives should listen to and involve trans women creators in collaborative projects bc their input is valuable and leads to better finished work

i mean, i’ve actually seen plenty of women articulate the problems with this cover and outline why it makes them distrustful overall of creative projects helmed by TME individuals. i didn’t even know the name of the creative director until i looked further into it
