THE WIND lingered in my memory long after I saw it. It's a smart, dark and beautiful film, and I highly recommend checking it out. It's particularly noteworthy for its rare and successful intersection of the Western genre and feminist horror. 👍

The problem with Emerald Fennell's "Wuthering Heights" is that she insisted on calling it "Wuthering Heights". If she had simply come up with a new name, as she did for her "The Talented Mr. Ripley" fanfic, everything would have been fine and no one would have been mad ... 😔
