Yeah, Canada was unquestionably the better team 5 on 5, but they squandered some golden opportunities, Hellebuyk was phenomenal, and once you send it to 3 on 3 the outcome is a coin flip.

I'm surprised by how little that result bothered me. Once I saw that it was going to 3 on 3, I kinda checked out. Ending any consequential game with 3 on 3 is bonkers. Not quite as bad as a shootout, but close.

Aw, cheers, man! That's so nice to hear. As much as I've enjoyed my pivot to making comics for kids, it's very removed from what I did before, and I sometimes worry that my friends and peers think I just retired or something. 😅

And (not to toot my own horn) I got to do some background assists! It's a fun one. Very happy to have played a small role in Supes/Spidey!

I am utterly delighted to share that @mattfraction.bsky.social @stevelieberart.bsky.social @claytoncowles.bsky.social and I briefly got the Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen band back together to do a back-up story in Superman/Spider-Man #1. In stores March 25!

Definitely dodged a bullet. I regret the time I spent watching that. 😂
