One of my favorite parts of the lore of this GIF is that right after it in the debate Ron Paul talked about how we should not let poor people with no insurance use emergency rooms and just let their families or churches take care of them

it’s so bizarre that one possible (and imo very likely) outcome of the war in Iran is the US basically declaring victory in a few weeks and leaving the state and regime damaged but still very much in place.

twitter was already near unusable when i left years ago. It wasn't even an ideological thing so much as it was just terrible to use as a website and all the worst replies were boosted on every post because of blue checks (the least interesting or funny people alive).
