Still in fairly regular contact with ten people in the picture. Connected but not in touch with about 4 more. Not bad after 33 years!

Uni picture from β93. Good times!
Yeah the underfoot conditions in those pictures looked horrible. Proper porridge, really saps the energy
It is! I think heβs competing with me to see who can get the most scars. At his current trajectory at 9 years old heβs clearly going to win π¬
Nice. How was it mountain man? I did 30km / 1,100m vert today, longest run this year. My legs are quietly unhappy with me.
Thanks - I think heβs hoping for a good scar π
Thanks - heβs on the mend already & took everything in his stride, no dramas at all. Heβs pretty used to getting into scrapes π€
It will make a good story in the playground tomorrow!
Busy day - my son got hit in the face with a shovel during avalanche training with his snowboard group. Snowmobile ride, π & some glue laterβ¦ I think heβs going to have a scar there.
Long run (30km / 1,100m vert) in the pm for a 77km week. Building nicely for race season

Scotland; world beaters at home but donβt travel well
She perfectly explained whatβs wrong with Americaβ¦.
Yes, Iβm seeing this phenomenon a lot around here at the moment
Never going to be allowed in the number 1 shirt again after that absolutely disgraceful show of skill & speed
Immediate expulsion from the front row union
Looks great, happy birthday!
Thatβs interesting. I had one pair of Kinabalu Ultra RC bought on sale. The sole had to be replaced after 150km, and after 200km the upper also split π€¨
I agree that Salomon are poor too. Terminal splits on the upper after <500km
Nnormal - definitely top of my list.
La Sportiva are good too - the new material on the Prodigio Pro seems really hard wearing. Iβm on 700km & no sign of wear.
Scott & Hoka have not been great for me. Small sample size but both failed & are off my list
How can a reset be considered serious without an honest conversation about FOM or ditching Labourβs βred linesβ?
These people are absolutely repulsive. Itβs not just the stupidity, itβs the greed & complete disregard for human life. No thought to what the real-life consequences of starting a war are. No qualms about killing innocent people for money.
They really sicken me. They all belong in court.
Disingenuous. Migration has already been cut by 3/4 since itβs peak, so Lab should take be taking credit for that.
To go further will result in negative economic consequences. A better polling question would be βwould you support more immigration cuts if it meant tax risesβ - assume most would not
The UK isnβt in the EU.
There couldnβt be a bigger contrast between Spainβs immigration policy & that which Mahmood is proposing.
Exactly. Without a willingness to entertain a discussion about FOM, or to revisit the βred linesβ there is very little of substance that can be done.
Itβs more empty words Iβm afraid. Labour to scared of their own shadows to do anything meaningful.
Absolute idiocy on its own terms, and a nightmare from a fiscal perspective.
It also makes a mockery of Reevesβ warm words about getting closer ties to the EU, which will eventually require FOM. Between Starmerβs red lines & Mahmoodβs immig policies, Labour are showing where their priorities lie
They didnβt think beyond the βEpic Furyβ part
Good to be pragmatic - but the enormous elephant in the room is that it was the US started this war illegally.
There should be consequences for ignoring International Law & it seems like too many countries are happy to ignore that uncomfortable truth.
That thing weβve been wanging on about incessantly for a decadeβ¦.. well, now youβve actually done it, weβve decided itβs a shit idea.
I agree. How long will action take though? As people on here pointed out, after May sounds logical, but that would be to accept throwing 100βs / 1,000s of councillors under the bus.
The bold option would be to do something now, but Labour feel so lost I just canβt see it happening.
His words ring hollow now; he has lost the trust of the electorate & a lot of his own party.
The only thing I can see saving him is decisive action. Sack Mahmood, ditch the anti-immigrant rhetoric, significant Cabinet reshuffle, radical progressive policy shift. Not going to happen though.
What a tangled web theyβve woven:
- Canβt talk about their progressive policy successes due to fear of Reform
- Grandstanding racist immigration policy which their base hates & contradicts their core values
Polling numbers at lowest ever, and he STILL canβt connect the dots
