Which obviously, for professional artists it is lol. But I'm not a professional artist, I don't want to come across that way, and on the audience side of things I fear that overexposure will numb people to my art in general. "Oh, it's that piece *again*" *scrollscroll*

At least for me, seeing the same piece more than once (as a result of deliberately trying to increase exposure), whether it be a repost or on different sites, kinda cheapens the piece itself and makes the artist come across as too professional/unrelatable for me. It becomes a "product".

I've heard of things like this before, it does sound handy! But in my case, the issue is really more that I *don't* want to spam my stuff everywhere lol, or rather that if you're going to see my post in multiple places, I wish I could make each post feel unique and more personal.

(I really wish either Twitter was not in such decline, or that bsky was actually good to use/that I could import my twitter following to it so that I could go back to just posting one time and leaving it at that)
