I ran into some trouble with things like video editing, but YouTube, email, basic web browsing, and word processing will all be totally fine.

My 12-year-old, watching the “Popular” scene in Wicked for the first time:

This is a really helpful summary of a complex issue that can’t be summed up in a tweet.

This could be a strong rebuke of the acceleration of anti-trans panic in Texas we have seen and are poised to see more of.

There’s the catch.

I’m at the age where my friends’ parents are dying apace, and I’ve found the kindest thing I can do for them is help with the obituaries. If you’re someone whose job entails writing or you simply have a knack for it, offer to help write, edit, or proofread the obit. It’s often appreciated.

I’m glad you’re in a safer place! I wish it wasn’t so urgently necessary to fight, but I’m here for the long haul. And I will protect the trans kids I know and love with my literal life. 💜

Trans folks move through the world with more courage than most of us will ever have to demonstrate in our lives. It shouldn’t have to be this way.

I will be:
-Out front at the protests
-The problem child to all of my representatives
-A place of safety for the trans people in my life—especially kids

Party registration is a little weird in Texas, so I was never a *registered* Republican, exactly?

But I was a fervent Republican voter until 2016. Does that count? 🙃

It’s hard and it hurts sometimes. Some of us have an easier time of it than others. But every one of us has that capability. To say otherwise just enables and excuses the malice.
