Early dawn on the beach in Oshawa. The sky is a peach colour, darker at the horizon and fading to a lighter colour at the top. There is a band of light grey clouds just above the horizon. The water of the lake reflects the colours of the sky and a small wave breaks onto the sandy shore. There is a rock formation stretching into the water and two narrow deciduous trees are growing between the rocks. In the background, on the right, is a tree-covered promontory with one house visible. The house has its indoor lights turned on.

The whole sky just exploded in green here in Reykjavík. It was so bright, I didn't even need my flashlight to walk out to my neighborhood beach. It's rare when we get these whole sky engulfing shows.
