FCES 2025 was rounded off with a visit to the European Chemicals Agency @echa.europa.eu in the afternoon, with lots of questions from us guests. We thank all the conference participants for an interesting and rewarding day and hope to see you again in two years!
FCES 2025: our prize for the best student speedtalk today went to Onni Sirkiä (UEF, title Ecotoxicity of Tire Rubber Additives and the Temporal Trends of Their Leaching). All the speedtalks were good, but congratulations to Onni for a very clear and well timed one!
Hello all #microplastics researchers! There was recently (past thre months approx.) an article that reviewed the relevancy of microplastic research, finding that a very low % is really relevant for the field. Cannot find it. Anyone can send me a link? Thanks in advance

I think many researchers in Finland complained about not only the system but the myriads of #SpecialIssues released by them. Will see a substantial drop in article submissions from #Finnish institutions. Point is Jufo level 0 is near worthless in the funding scheme. Cheers!
