Process, from concept sketch to "clean" sketch to finished lineart.

Artwork representing Clíodhna, a goddess from Irish mythology. The illustration is framed by a border made from celtic knots. Two banshees appear on the upper right side, overlapping with the border. In the center stands Clíodhna, amongst turbulent waves and a cloudy sky. Her ribcage and lungs are visible, and the bottom part of her dress seems to be made of water, merging with the waves of the background. Three birds surround her. The illustration is made in a style inspired by etching, focusing on lineart and hatching. The colors are primarily teals and blues, with red highlighting the birds and the lungs. The story that inspired this artwork is the myth of the Wave of Clíodhna.
