A timely and well-articulated piece. It’s easy to forget how persuasive language can feel, even when it’s not backed by clinical judgment or ethical frameworks. Definitely a helpful reminder that being conversational isn’t the same as being qualified to support mental health.
An important reminder in this piece: AI chatbots can be helpful, but they’re not psychologists. The difference matters. Clinical judgement, boundaries, and ethics cannot be simulated.
