I loved it. The narrator is such good company, always on a precipice, it seems, whilst also deeply imbedded within herself. Much warmer than Lerner and others like Cusk. So good on desire and agency. I think itβs my favourite of her books.
I must have entered my age online somewhere recently as all the adverts Iβm getting are for elasticated trousers and quilted gilets.
If I lived in Ireland, I would be applying for this. (I do not live in Ireland.) Do you live in Ireland?
According to my four-year-old, I donβt like whistling because Iβve recently attended a βhow to not like whistlingβ class. Iβm yet to discover whether this is an accredited course.

Is there any way to access this via a recording? Would love to take part but live in the UK.
Patiently awaiting my Forward Prize.

I am raising a glass! π₯
