DHS claimed "an ICE agent had fired 'defensive shots' into Martinez's vehicle after Martinez 'intentionally ran over' another agent."
But body cam video now "shows that Martinez's vehicle, a blue Ford Fusion, was stationary or going at a very low rate of speed when he was fatally shot."
White House: the witnessβsΒ allegations are βcompletely baselessβ and βbacked by zero credible evidence.β
Fact: FBI found her credible enough to interview repeatedly, and she received a financial settlement from the Epstein estate.
Again. This matters.

this is so fun because i know an LLM wouldnβt give me a response this creative. like this took the funniest shortcut possible. come have fun at youraislopbores.me
This will be a test re: whether the U.S. population knows who to be mad at.
CBP puts the blame on legacy IT systems. To be blunt, while these problems may be completely valid, this is entirely the fault of the government.
NEW: Federal judges have spent months ordering ICE to give detainees a chance for release in bond hearings.
Now, they're worried that the bond hearings themselves β conducted by Executive Branch immigration judges β are a farce.

I actually donβt think a college degree should t be a requirement for many positions.
Not being a corrupt, racist, asshole, however, should be a minimum.

ICE is STILL in Minnesota and STILL terrorizing communities. Reporters that say otherwise are either uninformed (which....) or lazy (which... ) or just repeating regime lies (which... is also extremely bad).
People are still missing, people are and will be traumatized, businesses demolished...
was gonna say i learned that the mysteriously always around at late night ice cream van in my dc neighborhood sold drugsβ¦
and suddenly it made more sense.
also gotta imagine that if youβre afraid of being bombed you might not have a lot of time to be in the streets uprising. just guessing.
If you vote for the new $50 billion supplemental appropriations package, you are voting to force us to pay for more of this.
especially if you get a court reporter who leaves in your verbal tics.
doesnβt happen often but nothin like a page of umms to realize you made somebody mad.
the train is absolutely more consistent timing wise, is what iβm saying i guess. it can take me 45 minutes to get out of manhattan some days!
itβs as long as it does to drive if traffic isnβt bad.
i have driven nyc to mass faster than the train, but also have driven it in twice the train time.
I deeply prefer the train experience but would love for it to be fast.
every time i take this trip i am upset it isnβt at least only 2 hours by now.
Also i am mystified by how it is possible that connecticut takes so long to go through when it is such a small state.
The fact that it takes 4 hours to take a train from NYC to Boston is insane. With an actual high speed train and direct route, that should be like, 45 minutes.
Anyway that's what I'm doing today.
the gambling epidemic is genuinely so real like sports are entirely gambling now video games are gambling toys are gambling they're still trying to push crypto somehow which is like if money was gambling
for everyone who keeps begging people not to be distracted by- insert event here- you, you do realize people are capable of being upset about more than one thing right?
It requires that the appointee be a registered Oklahoma voter in the same party as the previous senator β in this case, a Republican β for at least five years. They are also barred from running for the office in the next special or general election. βWeβve set specific eligibility guidelines for the appointee, and also prohibited the person from refiling for the office once the special term is fulfilled to protect the seat from the unfair advantage of incumbency,β Paxton said in a statement at the time. βThis bill encourages a robust election cycle for this important elected position, as the appointed individual is only meant to be a placeholder so that we donβt go underrepresented in the U.S. Senate.β
Intereseting tidbit re Oklahoma's Senate seat once Mullin resigns:
Yes, the OK Gov would appoint a temporary replacement, but under Oklahoma law, they would only serve until the November special election *and wouldn't be allowed to run for that.*
Seat warmer ONLY.

i think this may depend where because i would not say the subway in nyc inspires friendliness in a chit chatty way. It inspires interdependence and kindness, I think, but not the kind of βfriendlyβ i think some folks are referring to?
ok fake nice was too pejorative, but the differences are seriously cultural and regional and what comes across as friendly in some of the US is deeply obnoxious in other parts.
and I truly think a lot of it has to do with density, and, yes, things like private space and cars.
