Because polling is adjacent to traditional media and (unfairly) lumped in with them - and clearly they have existential problems - it may be curtains for polling. Is polling possible without a modicum of trust?

I live in Omaha and here’s my problem with the iowa poll. I know dozens of trump voters. I cannot imagine even one of them with enough trust to respond to a poll. they see polling as connected to traditional media and therefore corrupt.

My parents are in their 80s with all the health issues that entails and this would be worrisome for me. Praying for Biden. Get well chief.

(full disclosure - not a fan of changes in structure but ethics reform is perhaps overdue).

Listening to a podcast “Pollercaster” that is well done. host says, “Biden can still turn it around because he’s running against a candidate who is massively unpopular.” hear this a lot. correct phrase would be “almost as unpopular”. #ostrichmedia

I suppose…. but when you are holding a 2-9 off-suite I feel like the play is to fold and live to fight another day. I think Newsom has an established brand (such as it is) but don’t the others run the risk of a kind of losers rep (if they lose). seems like a big risk. (love your show 😊).
