But Jonathan Ashworth is known to have done a great job for his community - he was an MP for years, so clearly his community thought so too. You're just so biased, you can't see the wood for the trees.
How am I denying reality? I'm just giving my personal experience - I knew well ahead of the election that we were going to face hard times - you can't have had your head stuck in the sand surely? We all knew. I always thought it was going to be awful for Labour, inheriting such a mess.

The Daily Mail know very well it cannot cancel the visit. It is wrong to put pressure on Starmer to do so. We might hate Trump but we do not hate all Americans.
But Labour have put in place many taxes on wealth already. Farmers' tax, private schools, CGT, Non doms, Stamp duty to name just a few. I don't welcome welfare cuts but it's incorrect to say they haven't taxed the rich
