Heated Rivalry familiarized me with certain aspects of hockey culture and when I encountered "chirping" I immediately recognized that the only difference between chirping and shade/reading from drag culture is the term that gets used to describe the practice, 'cause it's otherwise exactly the same.

i like the idea that they decided to show us what may have been an inspiration for the dema/clancy/trench lore. and using drag path to showcase that, as if the original short film is tyler’s own personal drag path that started it all, makes everything feel very sweet to me

like as in the only way to truly outrun death is to become immortal by creating something/performing, since being pulled into a performance is what allowed the rabbit to escape and i do think that's meaningful

i mean it doesn't look good timing wise but it probably is just an unfortunate coincidence, it's probably just a drag path blowing up/movie promotion thing timing wise

and i do feel the video is relevant!! not just for the dog & rabbit but also bc the thing that saved the rabbit was the stage
