Spending $200 billion on ICE is a terrible idea I've covered federal law enforcement for two decades. Here are the things that worry me most.

Remember when Trump said 'we need one really violent day?' Yesterday, Hegseth implied he was ok using the military against US citizens inside the US and would carry out all orders. Do you really think if Trump gives that order, Hegseth will say "no?"
