I’m already emotional about them leading with this. It’s an aspect of the relationship that the show never really had to explore, because their family was so new, but it is a bittersweet reality for the characters.
That trailer had it all. Pure, unadulterated pulp adventure. Grogu taking another step forward as co-protagonist. Unmasked Din right off the bat (which says SO much). The whole idea of Colonel Ward’s cards. The scale, the locations, the fantasy.
So much to love. Unbelievably excited.
What I love about the Mando & Grogu trailer is its confidence. Shots being called so early on like Din being unmasked for parts. Grogu being kitted out more this go around. This so feels like not just the logical evolution of the show, but the best possible one.

I’m so serious when I say that we just have to clown on the bad takes. I know “block & ignore” is a popular thing to say (and I know people have very valid reasons for defaulting to it), but we can check the results on that one. I’d like to know how that’s helped the flow of lies and nonsense. 🤷🏻♂️

My two cents on Lynwen Brennan as the new Co-President of LFL is that she was nice to me personally, and I will always remember that. I saw her at the El Cap for the Andor premiere, and we spoke before the screening. She was surprised anyone recognized her, and she was delightful.
