It’s very simple, but I love Felicia & Flora’s dynamic. Felicia absolutely sucks ass at being a maid & doing housework, but is a very competent fighter. Meanwhile Flora is the opposite; she’s quite good at being a maid & competes with Jakob, but isn’t a good fighter at all

Spade: i don't think i've written on it actually! but i do have thoughts. also note i'm gonna use her real name here just for clarity imo all of it, arguably all of it, comes down to when hatsu was a kid and began (thanks to her sister's stories) conceptualizing saki as The Blessed Kid, The Brave Kid, The Good Kid, all in contrast to herself -- cursed, cowardly, and a burden to everyone around her. none of these thoughts about herself are true but it's informed by the way she was treated by her hometown even if it was "kind". the fact she was treated with soft hands made this deep sense of isolation feel worse so what sets saki apart, both on the one day they played together as kids and by ep12, is the fact that in comparison saki is kind but she treats hatsu like she would any other person. this is even relevant to ep13 ("you are no knight of mine"). hatsu is dear to her, yes, but she's not special. and for the girl who was silently othered her whole life for being "special"? this is intoxicating but this also confirms all those thoughts hatsu has, that saki is Blessed, Brave, Good. to everyone, all the time. she is saintly and holy in that sense. all impressions that by nature are built on her own negative impressions of herself. so she never really has to do any self-introspection as long as she can keep worshiping saki. "she refuses to spurn her chains, so she could keep singing" as arknights puts it
