I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.

I think you forfeit the right to call anyone paranoid or delusional when your first instinct is to go call an artist with twice my follower count who disagrees with you as my alt, "literally nat under a different name"

Why is the macro community the single most toxic aspect of the furry community, outside of puriteens?

I swear like 2/3 of the drama ive witnessed has been started and almost exclusively perpetuated by sizeplayers.

Because the devs actively hate their users, especially the trans and furry ones, for not being the crypto schmucks they were trying to court.

so many people don't build up a body of work on a gallery site and instead just yeet art out onto social media. you gotta do both.
