sending out support to folks who can't be or aren't visible this trans day of visibility.
especially in countries like the USA where bigotry is endorsed by people in power, there are a lot of reasons not everyone can always be visible. we owe it to everyone to understand how complicated that is.
Happy Trans Day of Visibility to all the trans folks out there, whether it's safe for you to be visible or not where you are. If it's not, I hope one day soon it will be.
Also a reminder: terfs can get in the sun. Trans rights are human rights. Terfs and terf ideology are dangerous to everyone.
if you can do something to materially support a trans person today, or any other day, do it. in a world that is dedicating so much energy to cruelty and violence towards the vulnerable, the least we can do is help each other survive.

"maybe if womanhood was defined differently, i'd still be a woman. but i CHOSE to transition. and i'm damn glad i did."
