I wrote a new song! The first in a very long time. Blood Red Moon is about feeling lost in sorrow, with the blood-red moon symbolising pain, hidden truths, and the hope that things might eventually make sense.

I quit a perfectly good job last week. Shift work finally did me in. I know I’m mad but I did something instead of just putting up with it.

Talking to an ex soldier today about his time touring in Iraq and Afghanistan. Interesting and harrowing at the same time. I have no idea how these brave people are able to adapt to ‘normal’ life after what they have experienced.
