E.g., "I need artwork" = "GenAI picture" is not the same as "I need artwork" = "because I need to express my feelings and mood". If they do not understand what the users need, the solution is flawed.

I have to wonder if their stance comes from their IT industry roots who are here to "solve problems" for users. So the Tech bros, "I can fix that" view is bringing AI to solve a perceived pain point, but in the rush to solution they did not take time to understand the users' actual need.
