Supreme Court orders Dallas to "separate" certain votes Dallas and Williamson counties closed centralized voting centers, which had become a common practice, at the request of local Republicans.

Update: The Texas Supreme Court ordered Dallas County to separate any votes cast by voters who were not in line by 7 p.m.

The temporary order creates new uncertainty on whether votes cast by those who arrived after 7 p.m. will be part of the final tally.
