Are NL shelters really overrun with dogs to be adopted? I always had the impression that since Covid there was a shortage. Too many amateur backyard breeders here though. :(

Wow. This does makes me happy that I’m naturally a cat person. Went to the cat cafe three years ago and said “I’d like to adopt those two please.” Went to the city, paid $140 each, and the next day they came home with me.
