Red Dwarf's Holly (Norman Lovett) on Tomorrow's World (03/03/1999) and Megalab (17/03/1999) In March 1999, Norman Lovett appeared in character as Holly alongside Phillipa Forrester and Peter Snow to launch their Turing Test experiment, to see whether AI chatbots could convincingly pass as human. He returned two weeks later as part of the annual Megalab event, both as Holly and himself, taking part in the experiment alongside Sir Terry Pratchett and Jaye Griffiths. This footage has never been repeated or released.

I'll forever be thankful to Rob for the show and the characters that he and Doug created. And I'm thankful that he got to write for those characters one more time in the upcoming novel.

I want to put a heartfelt message out but don't know what to say right now. As you might expect, Red Dwarf means a great deal to me, as I know it does to so many others, and I wasn't expecting to have to come to terms with the loss of one it's creators quite so soon.
