The female Redhead at Lough Ygannavan near Cromane found 24th January by Brian Power & is still present today, this is only the 2nd Irish record & the first ever in Kerry of the North American duck. Video by kind permission of K Kelly.

Itβs amazing that this appears to be the only bird remaining in the Kingdom after the great influx during September 2025 when an incredible 174 birds were recorded in the county.
Glossy Ibis still present in the Blennerville area over the past few weeks & again today, foraging in and around a farm & partially flooded field
