Prosecutor: *Accurately summarizes the law*
Washington Post Editorial Board: That’s a bold claim by the prosecutor!
tylenol.com TYLENOL We stand with science, and we stand with you. For generations, families have trusted TYLENOL® when it matters most. Why? Because Tylenol is one of the most studied medications in history. The facts remain unchanged: over a decade of rigorous research, endorsed by leading medical professionals, confirm there is no credible evidence linking acetaminophen to autism. Acetaminophen is used worldwide as a first line of defense for pain relief and fever reduction, at the recommendation of independent public health and leading medical professionals and in accordance with the product label. High fevers and pain are widely recognized as potential risks to a pregnancy if left untreated, especially in the first trimester. Remember to talk to your doctor. We prioritize science as the core of how we provide care, and that will never change.

When journalism was cool. And risked everything to challenge power.
“Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.”

Dolly Parton has sent my daughter a new book every month for years as she does for thousands of children. She help fund the development of the Covid vaccine. She’s not a billionaire. I think as non wealthy people it’s hard to even imagine how much billionaires *could* be doing with their money.
The only remaining problems with getting to peace in Ukraine are: the war is going on, the sides are divided on getting a ceasefire, Russia wants land Ukraine won’t give up, Ukraine wants security guarantees Russia won’t accept, the US leader doesn’t understand any of the issues involved…
Trump: “It looks like it’s about $3.1 billion…”
Powell: “I’m not aware of that.”
Trump: “It just came out.”
Powell: “You are including the Martin renovation. You just added in a third building.”
Trump: “It’s a building that's being built.”
Powell: “No, it was built five years ago.”
Oh my… Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell just corrected Trump’s math on national television, live, and called out his disinformation.
Some Battlestar related art.
Enjoy.

Trump 2017: "It is my pleasure and my honor to announce my nomination of Jerome Powell."
Trump today: "He's a terrible Fed chair. I was surprised he was appointed. I was surprised frankly that Biden put him in and extended him."
Every news story will include both clips, right?
The way things are going in the United States and with NASA, Europe may have to take the lead. Sorry, but America has come down with a fascism/corporatism virus.

You're a corrupting influence obviously. 😂
Assaulting a senator is an assault on democracy.
NO KINGS.
Honestly, folks.
As a historian, every day I wonder what new assault on the democratic process awaits us from the executive branch.
The revolutionary generation knew that they were living in world-changing times.
So are we.
We need to live up to this challenge.
Possibly my favorite scene from Lower Decks. All the unsung and ignored worker ships came together to save their crippled sister, the Cerritos.
"Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that Lewis Pullman will play a character named Starburst, the sun of Queen Vespa (Zuniga) and Lone Starr (Bill Pullman). The actor's father starred in the original as the dashing Lone Starr, and will reprise the role."
I told you we’d be back
This is Kristi Noem admitting that Homeland Security is currently occupying Los Angeles, not to protect citizens, but for purely *political* reasons. Yes, she really is that stupid.
“Tasted a little tear gas— tasted like fascism”
That Terry Moran tweet is pretty awesome, actually.
Anthony Bourdain died seven years ago today.
I think his legacy to Americans was to be a good guest, to appreciate culture not co-opt it, and that we need to be less afraid of lifestyles unlike our own. He was an ambassador to embracing equal but different.
More people could stand to ponder this.
Honestly—as hokey and trivial as this sounds—at a time when individuality and creativity and humanity and the arts are under attack—celebrating all of those things with the Tony awards feels like a very small but meaningful act of resistance.
And all resistance matters.
